For the purpose of providing financial assistance in pension form to the elderly

60 years or more under Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme
In the age group BPL list 2002, the eligible senior citizens will get Rs. 300 / -.
At the rate of two beneficiaries per month, in two half-year installments, their bank accounts
It is permissible to give pension through a medium. From 01.04.2011 to the said scheme
Eligible beneficiaries of age group 60 years to 79 years up to Rs. 200 / – per month
Per beneficiary and Rs 100 / – per beneficiary states per month
The amount of pension is being given in the form. Dated 01.04.2011 by the Government of India
For the beneficiaries of the age group 80 years and above, Rs.
500 / – per month per beneficiary, a pension is being given.
Under this scheme, 38,25,688 old pension schemes have been benefited in the state.

Beneficiary Selection Process: –
Selection of beneficiaries through village panchayat and in urban areas
Is done through the Sub-Collector / City Magistrate
Proposal sent by the Gram Panchayat, through District Block Office, District
Social Welfare Officer, Office is drawn to the proposal and received
Approval of the pension after the examination, in the bank account of the beneficiary
Is transmitted.
