National Old Age Pension Scheme

This scheme has become online from date 01-04-2016, in which the applicant has to apply with :

    1. the family register (for rural areas),
    2. age certificate issued by the medical officer or high school proof in which age is mentioned
    3. income Certificate issued by the tehsil. (Rs. 46080/- per annum for rural area and Rs. 56460/- per annum for urban area)
    4. Aadhar card,
    5. passport size photo,
    6. CBS bank passbook

at any Jan Suvidha Kendra / where net facility is available. After applying online on the pension website by paying the appropriate fee, the hard copy of the application and the above records will be kept with the beneficiary in original and at the time of checking the development block / tehsil worker, the application will be submitted to the said worker. A set of self-attested copies of his signature/thumb impression on the letter and photocopies of all the records shall be made available to the said inquiry officer. On verification, if found eligible, the Block Development Officer / Sub-District Officer will verify with his login ID and forward it to the District Social Welfare Officer. After this, if funds are available by Headquarters Lucknow, directly through NEFT, the payment will be made in four quarterly installments at the rate of Rs.1000/- per month to the beneficiary’s account.
